SNAP 500 Care Label Printer - Features
5. Ink Arbors
With the SNAP 500, loading ink ribbons is quick and easy. The ink arbor has a notches in a stair-step design. The operator holds down the latch, aligns the splines inside the ink core with the slot on the arbor, and pushes the core on while releasing the latch. The notches make a "snapping" sound until they fully engage when the core is centered. This allows the arbor to control of the ink core to provide proper back tension which reduces wrinkles and provides better print quality.
