Heat transfers designs offer far-reaching opportunities for both multi-color decoration and high comfort ‘tag-free’ labeling. For this skin contact labeling transfer need to be safe, clean and soft. At Avery Dennison, we meet this need with a broad range of custom heat transfers for any textile apparel application. Almost all Avery Dennison heat transfers meet Öko-Tex 100 Class 1 certification which ensures suitability for skin contact for babywear but there are some transfers that also combine excellent performance with the ecological advantages of water-based inks, water-based adhesives and recyclable carriers.
Halo-Free ECO Transfers
Made from a proprietary formula of water-based inks, Halo-Free ECO Transfers deliver one of the softest label-free solutions available along with the following advantages:
- Halo-free – no visible adhesive shadow around the motif creates a crisp, clean image
- Eco-friendly—water based inks, no PVC, no harmful substances
- A single color solution that can be matched to *PANTONE®
- Excellent durability and wash resistance to meet garment life cycle requirements and maintain brand integrity

ECO Stretch Transfers
Also made from water-based inks, our ECO Stretch Transfers have a stretch capability suitable for sports and performance wear. They can also be used on cotton or cotton blends if you’re looking for one solution that fits a wider range of fabrics. ECO Stretch Transfers offer you the following benefits:
- Fully flexible heat transfer for application to high-stretch fabrics
- A fully water-based transfer solution without PVC or harmful substances to maximize the comfort factor for skin contact applications
