Avery Dennison Showcases Eco-friendly Labeling Solutions, New Printer Technology at Prime Source Forum 2009
Avery Dennison Corporation featured ECO-friendly labeling solutions, in-plant printing innovations and a keynote speech by the head of its Asian Retail Information Services Group on apparel trim sourcing strategies for tough economic times at Prime Source Forum 2009. The conference ran from March 31 to April 2 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
In addition to displaying new products
and business-enhancing solutions, Avery Dennison sponsored the Prime Source Forum first-day luncheon, where Michael Johansen, vice president and general manager of RIS Asia will deliver a keynote speech covering Avery Dennison’s business direction during a time of economic downturn. In his speech, Johansen discussed Avery Dennison’s strategic focus, which includes market development in China and Japan.
The SNAP 700 Multimedia Label Printer
Designed to meet the diverse labeling challenges faced by apparel contractors worldwide, the SNAP 700 multimedia label printer is versatile and easy to use. The system features easy threading, minimal adjustments, and voice-assisted prompts in seven languages that support operators of all skill levels. Booth visitors would have an opportunity to “test drive” the new printer.
ECO-friendly Tags and Labels
ECO-friendly solutions that can be substituted for existing trim items at no additional cost will highlight Avery Dennison’s tag and label presentation. On display, and available as samples, would be a full range of ECO-woven and printed labels, as well as dissolvable tag and label papers.
